beware the slumpy

Tomatoes are a fruit. It does slightly scare me that the woodchuck doesn’t touch the tomato plants, but eats everything else. Is it because they are in the nightshade family? Or perhaps the woodchuck can’t bend his evil little body that high up?

I’ve no idea.
