Sometimes I really, really like a joke, and then I show it to my darlings, and they look at me with blank, blank faces.
My grandfather used to say, “I can’t eat prunes, because for me they’re a physic.” I knew, of course, that he was meant that they were a laxative for him. I think that I was on odd child, or something.
So, yes, I love the first four panels. It makes me smile, and think of my grandfathers… bowels? No, it just makes me smile. He was pretty damn awesome.
