I was at World Makerfaire NYC on Sunday. It was really awesome, and full of all manner of creative folks and innovators.

Makerbot is a company based in Brooklyn, NY, that actually makes 3D printers at an affordable price. They print using a thin but durable plastic (something similar in feel to what Legos are made of).

They don’t print in bacon fat, though, they do have a frosting extruder that can print on the tops of cupcakes. I figure that bacon fat can’t be too far behind.
