I will be walking around at New England Webcomics Weekend this weekend, being a fanboy. If you’re going, and you want to say “hi”, let me know ahead of time, and we can certainly meet.
Maybe, in a few years, if I feel confident enough and this strip has evolved enough, I might even apply for a table there. But not yet, I’m glad to still be a tourist. 🙂

Seriously, I hate dream interpretation guides. If you see a giraffe in a dream, it doesn’t mean that you will have I.B.S. I mean, really, come on now, people. More common sense, and less magical thinking, please!

I hate when I have realistic dreams, just because I’m all like “and then I made dinner and paid the bills, but it was just a dream!” and people around surely thinking “why are you dreaming about mowing your lawn? WTF is wrong with you??”
Also, by the way, I did have a flying dream the other night, and it was terrible vivid. Not realistic, but vivid. I can’t ever remember having one before.

I am nearly ready to reveal the big project I’ve been working on on the side. Now, I want to put this into perspective, if only because I don’t blog anywhere else and I like going back and remembering these kinds of things.
I balance lots of things. I have a full-time day job. I’m a husband and a father. I have regular extended family issues that I must take care of. I put up this weird little webcomic. And I’m also learning how to play the ukulele, and I practice each evening. (Well, I guess you could say that I play the ukulele, but there’s always room for improvement.)
On top of all of that, I added a significant, time-sensitive project. I’m a little shy about it, though. When I reveal it, perhaps you’ll forgive some of the slightly late comics over the last couple of weeks.
I hope you will, that is.
