beware the slumpy

I vow never, ever, to have so many characters in a single frame, ever again.

I also reserve the right to break that vow, as soon as tomorrow.

Yes, a new character! If you knew how long it took to design her, you’d be unimpressed at how she actually turned out. I mean, the hundreds of little sketches of her possible forms laying around the house make me look like a man obsessed, and with the amount of time spent fussing over her, she ought to look like an Audubon painting. Still, I like her.

And yes, she is a white-headed nun.

In comparison, there’s about 10 minutes of character design in Blue Bird. Oops.

Yeah, we’re going there, finally.

why am i awake? why why why why why?

oh, it clearly has something to do with not going to sleep. i simply must try that sometime; i hear it is all the rage with the “in” crowd.

insomnia is my special friend. there’s so much i could never get down without its gentle touch.

right. i’m gonna go pretend to sleep, now.
